Ya buddy – should have place your bets as the rocket launchers in my swim suit worked (insert rocket in my pants joke here) and I managed to come in 3rd overall! woot-woot! Well, there were only 15 competitors in our full-distance race but still….placing on the podium, don’t take that away from me! It was a very tough course with a rough sea, pot-hole and traffic filled road, and a deep sand run on the beach but it was a very cool experience.

After learning that you’re running 10km in a pair of old basketball shoes (btw, I don’t remember you owning basketball shoes… so I believe you mean: shoes that you decided were for basketball… even worst) and riding 40km with a women’s bicycle purchased at a the local Tanzanian-style second-hand market, I just hope your swim suit has rocket launchers attached to it (And please don’t reply with a rocket-sounding nickname for your skinny legs).

It sounds like you’re going to win! And everybody loves an underdog story. Where do I place bets?

Leafs first overall in the NHL and phil Kessel leading the league in scoring. Who would have thought!!!

Don’t give up on the NHL just yet! Next time you’re back though we’ll have to go to Scallywags up on yonge and Eg. It’s the Liverpool supporters bar and shows all games.

You might want to retract those Leafs sentiments, my friend. Your good ole’ “home” team is #1 in the NHL today!

Your search for home is very similar to Superman’s.

To a far lesser extent I felt what you are describing when I moved into my current apt in Toronto. My home was in Oakville, this was simply a place I passed time between work. But like all thing, time’s transformative powers take hold, and the strange become familiar. You can have dozens of homes, as long as they give you a sense of security, serenity, and a place from which to go out and explore from.

Africa is Huge! I refuse to believe this image until I get an answer. I was just looking at a world map, and honestly this looks like this picture exaggerates the size of Africa. That explains why they are such fast runners… they have a lot of ground to cover. Ha-ha! But hey! I think they missed up ASIA. Asia is greater than Africa. It has 44,579,000 sq km!
