What a year 2025 has been for pro racing. From the roar of the crowd at Anaheim 1 to the final gate drop of the outdoor season, we were treated to an incredible display of grit, talent, and drama. This year felt like a true turning point, with a fierce new generation making their mark while the established legends refused to back down. As a long-time fan and former racer, it was everything I love about this sport.
The Lawrence Brothers' Reign
It's impossible to talk about the 2025 season without starting with Jett and Hunter Lawrence. Jett, continuing his dominant run in the premier 450 class, showed a level of consistency and raw speed that was simply breathtaking. Hunter was right there in the mix all year, consistently landing on the podium and keeping the pressure on.
The Veteran's Charge: Eli Tomac
Just when people start to wonder, Eli Tomac reminds everyone why he's a legend. His performance at Daytona was vintage Tomac—an absolute masterclass in grit and determination.
The 250 Class Firestorm: Deegan vs. Shimoda
For my money, the most exciting battles of the year were in the 250 class, often centered around Haiden Deegan and Jo Shimoda. You couldn't ask for a better clash of styles. Deegan, with his aggressive, all-out approach, and Jo Shimoda with his quiet professionalism and flawless technique.
